Number 02The Promise

  • The Egyptian Quench line — moisture-first, active-led body lotions in seven distinct variants.
  • Each variant solves one job: hydration, brightening, exfoliation, or anti-ageing.
  • The line a dermatologist could comfortably recommend by name.
Seven bottles. One promise: moisture first, then the active your skin actually needs. EQ — short for Egyptian Quench — was built around a complaint we kept hearing from women between 28 and 45: "Every active I try dries me out. I need both." So we did. Each variant pairs a meaningful concentration of one carefully chosen active (retinol, niacinamide, vitamin C, lactic acid, caviar peptides) with a luxury moisture base — caviar lipids, cocoa butter, peach extracts. You don't have to choose between treating and moisturising. The result is the line a dermatologist could comfortably name without flinching. Real concentrations. Honest formulations. Calibrated for the climate (Lagos humidity, Abuja dryness, harmattan dust) and tested on melanin-rich skin across the spectrum. Pick the variant for what your skin is asking. Use it daily. Watch what happens at four weeks. NAFDAC-listed. Made in Nigeria. Built for the woman who's done with skincare aisles full of half-promises.

Honestly, the X7 night cream is the first thing in years that has actually faded my old acne marks. Three weeks in and my make-up sits differently. I'm telling everyone.

I bought Bathgel because my toddler's eczema was unmanageable. By day five the dry patches behind her knees were soft again. I'm not exaggerating.

Sent the Argan+ to my mum back home and now she's the one ordering for me. Real Argan smell, no fragrance covering up a fake.

Skin Doctor BHA toner is doing what no other product has done for my forehead breakouts. The slight tingle on the first night was honest — most brands lie about that.

Number 10The Questions

EQ — straight answers.

  • 01What does "EQ" stand for?

Egyptian Quench — a nod to the ancient skincare tradition of deep, oil-and-water moisture over harsh stripping. The whole line is built around the principle that your skin needs to be hydrated before any active can do useful work.

  • 02How do I pick a variant?

Caviar = ultra-rich moisture for dehydrated, ageing skin. Niacinamide = even tone + congestion. Retinol = anti-ageing (night only). Vitamin C = brightening (morning). Lactic Acid = gentle exfoliation. White Peach = sensitive skin. Cocoa Gold = melanin-rich barrier repair.

  • 03Can I use Retinol and Vitamin C together?

Yes, but split them: Vitamin C in the morning, Retinol at night. Together at the same time is too much for most skin types. Always SPF 30+ daily when using Retinol.

  • 04Is this safe during pregnancy?

Avoid the Retinol variant during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The other six variants are all pregnancy-safe based on current dermatology guidance — but always confirm with your obstetrician.

  • 05Will all seven variants work on melanin-rich skin?

Yes — every formula was developed and tested on a spectrum of melanin-rich skin tones from the first batch. Different variants for different concerns; all of them respect the tone you came with.
