Number 02The Promise

  • Dermatologically tested. Pharmacist-stocked.
  • Targeted formulas for acne, hyperpigmentation, and barrier repair.
  • The line your aunt's pharmacist quietly recommends.
There's a quiet shelf in every Lagos pharmacy where the owner keeps the products she actually uses on her own skin. Skin Doctor lives on that shelf. We started this line for the women coming in and asking for *something that actually works* — not the third foreign cream that promised the world and left their cheeks tighter than the box it came in. Each Skin Doctor formula targets one job. The salicylic toner fights active acne. The azelaic cream addresses the dark marks left behind. The zinc lotion calms the inflammation that started the cycle in the first place. The barrier serum repairs what aggressive treatment has been quietly stripping for years. Formulated with dermatologist input. Tested on melanin-rich skin from the first batch. Concentrations calibrated for the climate and the cumulative damage — humid Lagos, dusty Abuja Harmattan, the air-conditioning that pulls moisture out from 7 am to 7 pm. If you've been bouncing between brands looking for the one that won't break you out, won't lighten you, and won't disappear by week three — slow down here. Pick the formula your skin is actually asking for. Use it for the full eight weeks. Take photos. Compare. This is the line that earns its place on the shelf.

Honestly, the X7 night cream is the first thing in years that has actually faded my old acne marks. Three weeks in and my make-up sits differently. I'm telling everyone.

I bought Bathgel because my toddler's eczema was unmanageable. By day five the dry patches behind her knees were soft again. I'm not exaggerating.

Sent the Argan+ to my mum back home and now she's the one ordering for me. Real Argan smell, no fragrance covering up a fake.

Skin Doctor BHA toner is doing what no other product has done for my forehead breakouts. The slight tingle on the first night was honest — most brands lie about that.

Number 10The Questions

Skin Doctor — straight answers.

  • 01Is Skin Doctor a real medical product?

Skin Doctor is a cosmetic skincare line formulated with dermatologist input, not a medication. It's NAFDAC-listed and stocked in select Lagos and Abuja pharmacies, but it doesn't replace a prescription for clinical conditions. If you have severe acne or rosacea, see your dermatologist first.

  • 02Can I use Skin Doctor with my prescription cream?

Usually yes, but space them out. Apply the prescription cream first (after cleansing), wait 20 minutes, then apply Skin Doctor moisturiser. Don't layer two active acids on the same night.

  • 03I have oily, acne-prone skin. Where do I start?

Start with the Skin Doctor Clarifying Gel Cleanser + the BHA toner three nights a week. Add the zinc lotion once breakouts settle. Avoid the AHA peel until your skin is calm.

  • 04How is this different from X7?

X7 is built around luminous finish + tone-evening. Skin Doctor is built around concern-specific repair — active acne, post-acne marks, oily-skin barrier issues. Many customers use both: Skin Doctor at night to treat, X7 in the morning to even tone.

  • 05Will the acid sting?

A mild tingle for 30 seconds on first use is normal. Burning, redness lasting more than 5 minutes, or persistent stinging means you need a lower concentration — message us on WhatsApp and we'll match you to the right step.
